Camps at Sew Pinellas

This summer, Sew Pinellas is thrilled to offer an exclusive series of fashion design camps for young enthusiasts aged 9-17. Spanning two exciting weeks each, these camps are designed to ignite creativity and passion in the worlds of fashion and cosplay. Note that there are a select number of spaces for weekly registrations for our summer camps, but the curriculum is designed around 2 weeks.

Camp Dates:

  • June 9 to June 20, 2025: Fashion Design Camp: M-F, 9 AM - 3 PM

  • July 21 to August 1, 2025: Fashion Design Camp: M-F, 9 AM - 3 PM

Our Fashion Design Camps are a dream come true for aspiring designers. Beginning with the basics of sewing machine usage, we guide our students through the process of drawing inspiration, creating collections, sketching designs, and ultimately building their own fashion piece(s). The camp concludes with a dazzling fashion show where students proudly present their creations.

Limited Availability:

  • Each camp is limited to 12 students, ensuring personalized attention and a nurturing learning environment.

Camp Fee: $825 Early Bird Pricing (Rate Increases to $925 May 1, 2025)

Single Week Option: We are offering a limited number (4) of weekly option for each camp session. $425 Early Bird Pricing (Rate Increases to $500 May 1, 2025)

Camps at Shorecrest

Sew Pinellas is excited to partner with Shorecrest this summer and offer 4 different camps on their campus. The Machine Sewing classes are designed to teach new sewing hopefuls how to use a sewing machine while teaching seasoned sewists continued skills. Machine Sewing classes teach various projects from tote bags to stuffies. The Fashion Draping class is designed for high school aged students and teaches both sewing and the fundamentals of creating garment designs on the dress form.

  • June 16 to June 18, 2025: Machine Sewing Camp: M-W, 9 AM - 3:30 PM, ages 11-13, $275 Tuition

  • July 7 to July 11, 2025: Fashion Draping Camp: M-F, 9 AM - 3:30 PM, ages 14-18, $430 Tuition

  • July 21 to July 25, 2025: Machine Sewing Camp: M-F, 9 AM - 12 PM, ages 8-10, $270 Tuition

  • July 28 to August 1, 2025: Machine Sewing Camp: M-F, 9 AM - 3:30 PM, ages 11-13, $430 Tuition

Camps at Canterbury

Sew Pinellas is teaming up with Canterbury this summer to offer 4 exclusive Machine Sewing Camps for students in grades 4 through 12. These are half day camps, held from 1pm to 4pm. Students will master sewing basics on our collection of machines and leave with various projects over the week. Camps are priced at $250 per session.

  • June 23 to June 27, 2025: Machine Sewing Camp: M-F

  • July 7 to July 11, 2025: Machine Sewing Camp: M-F

  • July 14 to July 18, 2025: Machine Sewing Camp: M-F
